PHILOSOPHY
The villa is located in a very picturesque location. The philosophy of the project itself arose from the environment and nature. The environment gave rise to a philosophy called Portuguese Northern.
The "northern" is the north wind of the Gulf of Mexico, but Portugal has its own warm summer trade wind called the "Portuguese Trade Wind" - a light wind blowing on the west coast of northern Portugal. We chose this name for our philosophy, as the main idea of the interior will be the reflection of nature inside the premises.
LIVINING ROOM
By blurring the boundary between the interior and the exterior, we introduce warmth, lightness and softness of the warm season into the interior. The choice of wall finishes, furniture, shapes - everything is designed to give warmth and comfort.
DINING AREA
The mood is subtly elevated by bold terracotta pendant lights, introducing a vibrant focal point in an otherwise muted setting.
BEDROOM
The bedroom exudes a calm, down-to-earth energy and aesthetics inspired by nature. The palette is dominated by neutral tones, soft plaster walls, natural oak accents and textured fabrics that echo sand, stone and wood.
The overall atmosphere seems serene and tactile, as if in a sanctuary closely connected with the elements.
Natural linen linens, handmade ceramics and woven fabrics create an organic, artisanal flavor. The warm wooden panels behind the bed create a sense of rhythm and visual warmth.
